Night of Power

A friend commented as follows:

Either tonight, or one of the coming nights this week, is anticipated by Muslims to be the Night of Power. One does not know which night exactly, but definitely one of nights of the last ten nights in Ramadan. My family and many friends are in Makkah at this time, where I wish to be at the moment. The Night of Power, the Quran says, is one night that is better than a thousand months. It is out of Allah’s mercy that He grants us these special seasons because He knows that our souls cannot maintain constant worship year long. It is a special season where deeds are multiplied and prayers are answered.

I find comfort watching the congregations live in Makkah and Madinah:
