Just want to turn the key

When it comes to automobiles, there seems to be an appreciation on the part of some manufacturers (though not on the part of most auto manual writers) that most people have little interest in “playing auto mechanic”. Want to be able to turn the key and go.

One would think that those involved with the manufacturing of computers and cellphones would see things similarly. Many, if not most customers have little interest in programming nuances. Want to simply turn it on and use it.

Some people say that this has been the key to Apple’s success, and to the demise of others. The people at Apple are said to understand how users think and that they want to be able to simply turn it on and use it.

Some people getting tired of too many life downloads…
