Signing documents in hospital with client, 85+, who still does not need reading glasses. Failing heart, but definitely not failing mind.

Thinking of client. Then thinking of Richard Patterson. Meeting him in long-term care facility when he was 65, and challenged as of 63. Dementia onset. Tears on his part, because he knew what was happening to him, and knew what he wasn’t able to say.

What one gets dealt…
