The Words: Music

Saw the 2012 movie, The Words, about representing the novel of another as one’s own. Friend thought the movie was quite good; agreed. Particularly impressed with the performance of Jeremy Irons, who played the novelist whose novel had been appropriated.

Turns out many do not share these sentiments. Film was poorly received, amidst allegations that its theme of appropriation was itself also appropriated.

Friend also pointed out that the soundtrack was quite touching; agreed. No major opposing sentiments here.
