Wrote about professor flailing. Seems that when there is a captive audience, and one is assured of cash flow through tenure or otherwise, boundary sense is lessened considerably.

Axl Rose moments in the academe:

Some professors won’t permit cellphones or other electronic devices in classroom, or will absolutely prohibit the recording of lectures in any form. Missing the benefit of a form of balance through knowledge of monitoring. Plus, the students pay for the lectures, which would not seem to be in the same protective category as artistic performance…or…
