Raked

Met a friend whose mother had just died. He had supported her for many years. One with several siblings; he is the one who supports.

Private funeral. Grave set, by him, alone. Look at his hand; bandaged finger. Said he had been preparing the grave, before the funeral. Had to rake; get the grave just right.

Ripped off most of the skin on one finger. The blisters from no stopping. The blisters from cannot stop.

Howlings that cannot stop.
