Band of Gold Precision

Michael Todd has written about how his high school friend and former bandmate, Margo Davidson, later of Parachute Club, was very precise in her sense of musical direction. Know what he is talking about. Encountered this when at lower end bar in east Toronto with Margo, late 1979 or so, to see the former guitarist from her Wells-Davidson band, in a new band. Seemed to be mostly country. Then they went into Freda Payne’s “Band of Gold”:
